Project of Construction of the Integrated Petrochemical Plant in Atyrau Oblast - Phase II (Polyethylene Production) was being studied together with Borealis AG within the framework of the Joint Development Agreement dated March 24, 2018.
The project completed the stage of feasibility study development in 2019 resulting in positive project economics.
However, Borealis AG has made a decision to discontinue its further participation in the project.
Thus, KLPE LLP will continue to implement the project independently.
